A True Hero

Electric Board Helps Cancer Survivor

In 2018, 12-year-old Keely was diagnosed with osteosarcoma; a type of bone cancer. In the months that followed, she endured months of chemotherapy and even spent 2 weeks in a coma after having her leg amputated above the knee.

It was around this time that her father, Greg, reached out to the Miles Team and asked if there was something we could do for her. He explained that Keely has always lead a very active lifestyle so he wanted her to have something that would lift her spirits and help get her back out there.

We decided not only to donate a Miles Dual, but to design a custom grip for her to ride as well. Keely is a true hero and her strength is inspiring to all of us. Check out the video to see the process from start to finish!
